Tires

The original Firestone tires were still on this trailer. They are 4.00 x 18 with 5 ribs and an inner tube. They do hold air, but the sidewalls are heavily cracked and dried. The trailer max towing speed is rated at 15mps, so its not a safety issue, just don't want them to split while hauiling to an event.

I purchased a close match to the profile, although they are not Firestone and have 4 ribs vice 5.

Wheels

I have the rims blasted, primed and painted. The tires and tubes are mounted. The wheels are installed with the bearing inside and two  thick washers on either side in the recell on the rims. A hub ca with nice IR logo is installed and secured with a cottor pin. I cleaned up the two grease fittings, and packed the bearings.
